Before I found the world, the world existed,
When I leave the world, the world will still exist,
We think the world is a part of us but really
we are a part of the world.

Before I ever blinked, the world had wars,
After I don’t breathe, the world will have more,
We think history is a part of us but really
we are a part of history.

Before I ever was and after I’ll ever be,
This world will be here for all to see,

with or without me.
